Black Leakage is an original idea from the Swedish designer and art director Robert Lindström, Designchapel and co-founder of North Kingdom. All motives are named after oil tankers that where destroyed during World War II – as a small reminder that out of something bad, something good can come. All Black Leakage wall stickers are made by a super thin, matt and easy-to-work self-adhesive vinyl foil. It sticks directly on the wall and are completely removable. Made in Skellefteå, Sweden. Worldwide shipping (shipping cost included in the price shown). 10% of the profit goes to Greenpeace Sweden to save our oceans from oil.
If you want other colors or customized formats we can of course help you with that.
The stickers are printed at Vision Reklam, a small Swedish print house from Skellefteå that pay attention to the details. The shop system is set up by Improove and some photos are from Shutterstock. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.

Before you start:
You need to be some kind of a handyman to install Black Leakage. It is little harder than wallpapering; so if you not are comfortable with that please ask someone who can.
Be sure you have at least one hour for the installation and take help from one or two friends if you are setting-up any bigger motives like "Neosho". The motive is way to big to handle yourself.
Sometimes (specially if you wait two or three weeks before installation) some parts maybe do not come off from the bakingpaper properly. This is natural and the only thing you need to do is gently loosen the vinyl with your fingers. If you cut off the bakingpaper this is more easily done.
Before applying the decals, remove any dust from your wall with a dry cloth. If an area is unclean the decal may not stick properly and can peel off over time. Do not apply to freshly painted walls! Wait a minimum of 2 weeks after painting. Mural mounted on paper wallpaper may mean that the wallpaper is damaged on dismantling.

The motive we have used in the instruction movie is an early version of "Gulfpenn". Filmed at North Kingdom's Stockholm office.

The vinyl is delivered in big paper tubs. Some creases can still appear which should be smooth out before setting-up. The package contains;
— 1 Black Leakage
— 2 small Black Leagage (so you can test the material before you apply the big one)
— 1 Rubber spatula and some masking tape
